About Us

Meaningful Growth & Lasting Change

Our work focuses on helping adults who have experienced trauma, chronic stress, anxiety, difficult relationships, or life experiences that have left them feeling disconnected from themselves.

We take a trauma-informed, whole-person approach to therapy, integrating approaches such as EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), nervous-system education, somatic mindfulness, cognitive and behavioral strategies, and experiential techniques based on your individual needs.

Jennifer Ashley, LCSW

Owner of Jennifer Ashley Wellness

My approach is trauma-informed and integrates evidence-based therapies including EMDR, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). I also incorporate mindfulness, movement, and nervous-system regulation because I believe healing involves more than simply talking about what happened—it involves reconnecting with yourself as a whole person.

I hold a Certificate of Advanced Study in Trauma-Informed Care and am trained in EMDR. I’m passionate about working with adults who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, heal from what they’ve experienced, and create meaningful change in their lives.

You don’t have to become someone different to heal. My goal is to help you reconnect with yourself, trust yourself more fully, and create a life that feels authentic, connected, and truly your own.

RATES & FAQ'S

We are an Out Of Network Practice offering

Out-of-Network Courtesy Billing

Individual Sessions range from $160-175

Couples Counseling $195

What does this mean for you?

If your insurance plan provides out-of-network benefits (OON Benefits), you may be able to receive reimbursement for a portion of your therapy fees.

Rather than requiring you to navigate the reimbursement process on your own, we can submit claims on your behalf. Your insurance company then processes the claim and, depending on your plan, may reimburse you directly.

Every insurance plan is different. Your reimbursement amount may depend on your deductible, coinsurance, allowable rate, and specific out-of-network benefits.

We understand that navigating insurance can feel overwhelming, so we offer courtesy billing to help make the process easier.

Here's an example:

If your session fee is $175 and your insurance plan reimburses 80% of its allowed amount after your deductible has been met, you may receive reimbursement for a portion of your session fee.

Example: $175 is session cost- insurance covers 80% ($140) your cost for session is $35.

Your actual out-of-pocket cost will depend on your individual insurance plan.

Please note: Out-of-network benefits do not guarantee reimbursement. We recommend verifying your benefits directly with your insurance company before beginning services.

Checking Your Benefits

You can enter your insurance information during the intake process. We also recommend checking your benefits directly through Thrizer's benefit checker or by calling your insurance company.

Additional Information:

Insurance benefits are determined by your insurance company, not by our practice. We encourage you to verify your benefits before beginning treatment.

  • Provider NPI: 1922175681

  • Place of Service: Telehealth — POS 95 or applicable telehealth modifier

  • Practice Location: 202 Walton Street, Suite 3, Syracuse, NY

Ask your insurance company:

  1. Do I have out-of-network mental health benefits?

  2. What is my out-of-network deductible?

  3. What percentage of the allowed amount is reimbursed after my deductible?

  4. What is the allowed or reimbursable amount for CPT code 90837?
